Live Hatha Yoga classes with written reflection for spiritual renewal and growth. No experience necessary.

“With its introspective focus, Hidden Language is like a headstand in the array of Hatha Yoga hybrids available today….The intention is not to perfect the poses or to create a beautiful body, but to develop spiritually.” Swami Lalitananda, The Inner Life of Asanas

Start your weekend with movement, stillness and reflection to take into your daily life while opening to your own inner spiritual depths. Each class will include warmups, a focus with one pose, warmdowns and end relaxation. Tap into your own wisdom and share a nugget with others in the class.

Suitable for experienced and new students. You will need an uncluttered space, a yoga mat, comfortable clothing, a journal and pen.

Sign in 10 minutes before your first class to check and adjust the positioning of your mat, laptop camera, lighting and sound.

Sign-up for the series or register for individual classes by 5 pm Friday before start date.

About Hidden Language

Hidden Language Hatha Yoga brings the spiritual forward in your yoga practice. Asanas or poses can be sacred seals. If we want to understand the secrets they hold, we can inquire and reflect and begin to loosen up what has been sealed away – in our bodies, our minds and in the potency of the poses themselves. If we are receptive, the hidden meaning of asanas can reveal our own inner depths. In each class you will be working with several asanas as well as warm-ups, reflections and simple spiritual practices.

Suitable for beginners or experienced practitioners.

About Swami RadhaTarananda

Swami RadhaTarananda met Swami Radha in 1978 and soon came to the Ashram to take the Yoga Development Course. She became a resident in 1981 and was initiated into sanyas in 1988. Her love of the teachings, the opportunity to give back, the music, the dance, the land and the love imbued through the Ashram have kept her evolving ever since. She has lived both at the Ashram and in cities where she was active with Yasodhara Yoga Centres, learning to ground her experience and discovering that what seems separate and distinct is in essence all One.
