Bradley Comstock
Bradley’s journey with yoga began in 1997 during a professional ballet career, when yoga classes in the dance studio became a source of both physical healing and inner balance. While yoga helped keep the body free from pain, it also provided an opportunity to quiet the mind and connect more deeply with emotion. In 2006, Bradley was introduced to the teachings of Swami Radha at Yasodhara Ashram, a spiritual lineage rooted in the wisdom of Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh. Through these teachings, yoga evolved from a physical practice into a way of life—one guided by self-study, Divine Light, and the Divine Feminine.
With more than twenty years devoted to the Yasodhara Yoga tradition, Bradley offers an inclusive and accessible Hatha Yoga practice for students of all levels. Also certified as a Modo Yoga and Recovery Yoga Instructor, he recognizes that everyone is recovering from something—whether work, relationships, grief, stress, or life’s many transitions. Drawing on the ancient wisdom of the asanas and the teachings of Yasodhara Yoga, Bradley creates a welcoming space for students to cultivate self-awareness, trust their inner wisdom, and discover the transformative power of yoga. Yoga is, Now.
Christine
I came to Yasodhara Ashram for two months’ Karma Yoga in 2024 and I fell in love with the Divine Light Invocation, Hidden Language Yoga, sacred dance and mantra. I left with a new perspective of work as an offering. All of this inspired me to explore the teachings more, and I took the Yoga Journey, followed by the Yoga Development Course (YDC) and the Hatha Yoga teacher training. What I appreciate most is how I could deepen my faith, devotion and personal yoga practice by including self-inquiry.

Eric Burton
Eric’s involvement with Yasodhara Ashram first took root at the former Radha Yoga & Eatery in Vancouver as a passionate karma yogi.
A life-changing injury as a young adult led to further explorations into self-care and various healing modalities. He completed the Ashram’s YDC & Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2015, in addition to the harvest Karma Yoga Program & ongoing Karma Yoga stays.
Building off a lifetime of singing in various choirs, a recent series of kirtan trainings has inspired him to share the gift of song within the yoga community and beyond.
An active member of the Vancouver Yasodhara Yoga community, he continues to share his wealth of experiences with others and understands the need to modify & adapt yoga poses, as “every-body’s different!”
Eva Snyder
Eva came to the Ashram in 2011 as a karma yogi and stayed on for 1.5 years, completing the YDC in 2012. Her love of the teachings and the Ashram are best summarized in her key phrase for her 2012 book reflections — interconnection.
She finds inspiration in the connections between Swami Radha’s faith teachings, all traditional faith teachings, and science; the way that all can contribute to ways of navigating information and finding wisdom and meaning in life.
She is currently writing her PhD dissertation at the University of British Columbia on mycorrhizal fungal connections in Western redcedar communities and the implications for forest energy flow and resilience. She returns to the Ashram regularly to re-charge, re-fill and re-enlighten and is honored to call this place her spiritual home.
Lisa Sars
Lisa entered into Yasodhara Teachings in 2011 at a Rose Ceremony held at the Radha Yoga & Eatery in Vancouver, BC. The heartfelt devotion of the ritual blossomed into a lifelong love of the Teachings, with an affinity for the art of reflection.
As a mother of two living in the city, she made time for her commitment to evolve, taking all of the teacher trainings and returning to the Ashram yearly. In her work as an education assistant with over a decade of experience in the Arts, she tends to the relationship between practicality and profundity.
