We are a group of certified teachers and students in Montreal practicing in the tradition of Yasodhara Ashram, founded by Swami Sivananda Radha. Yasodhara spiritual practices help increase awareness, experience greater well-being and live in alignment with our ideals.

Teachers

Juniper Glass

I am a Yasodhara Ashram certified teacher of Hatha, Dream & Kundalini Yoga since 2000 and of Hidden Language Hatha Yoga since 2022. Teaching, to me, is holding an open yet focused space for people to practice, reflect, and experience their deeper selves.

I began study of classical yoga practice and philosophy Mumbai, India in 1996 and found my spiritual home, Yasodhara Ashram, soon after. I regularly return to the Ashram to recertify and practice karma yoga.

Being a parent and engaging in social change work are all part of my yoga. I am a proud member of the 2SLGTBQ+ community and aim to create yoga classes that are warm, safe, inclusive and healing for all bodies. In my work, I run Lumiere Consulting, providing strategy support to nonprofits working to make our communities more equitable, healthy and peaceful. Originally from the west coast of BC, I have lived in Montreal since 2003. I speak English and French.

Trine Veiss Mikkelsen

I am a Yasodhara Ashram certified teacher of Hatha Yoga, Hidden Language Hatha Yoga and Dream & Kundalini Yoga. Alongside teaching yoga I am also a photographer, a life coach and a parent.

I am originally from Denmark and have taught yoga for over 15 years in Denmark, England, USA and Canada.

I teach small and private classes from my home in Outremont, and I am also available for private classes in the comfort of your own home.

Alongside teaching, I am also deepening my studies of Yoga by taking a complete professional training program in Yoga Therapy. This is giving me the insight to work with therapeutic groups and private Yoga Therapy offering sessions to groups and individuals with specific needs and specific health challenges physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
