Walking Together into a Hopeful Future – Reconciliation with Indigenous Spiritual Leaders
Pahan Pte San Win and Wanbdi Wakita, spiritual leaders from Manitoba and Ashram friends, will be our guides for two days focused on Indigenous wisdom, reconciliation and how to be an ally. Wanbdi is Grandfather in Residence at the University of Manitoba; Pahan is an Indigenous Spiritual Caregiver at the Manitoba Youth Centre. They have spent a lifetime exploring sacredness and healing and want to share what they have discovered with you.
Strength, sacrifice and the loving heart of woman is an important force for change at this time on Mother Earth. Learn how to foster the unfolding of women’s power.
Learn the do’s and don’ts of becoming an “ally”.

Workshops and satsang by contribution. Overnight accommodation (shared) – $125 per person/night incl. breakfast, lunch and dinner. For day guests, meals are available: 12:30 pm Lunch $16; 6 pm Dinner $20
Net proceeds support the Sundance of Women to be held in Manitoba in 2020 (the fourth of four annual Sundances to honour the spirits of missing and murdered women.)

10 am-12:30 pm – Relationship as a healing medicine
3-5:30 pm – Activities and discussions using the Indigenous Ally Toolkit*
7:30-8:30 pm – Satsang: Wanbdi Wakita “Women in Leadership”
10 am-12:30 pm Honouring and learning from the sacrifices and strength of women.
3-5:30 pm – Connecting with the Sacred through nature and ceremony in the tipi
7:30-8:30 pm – Satsang: Songs, prayers, a dedication to murdered and missing women
