Supporting Young Adults

Thank you to everyone who voted for the Ashram’s Young Adult Program in the Aviva Community Fund contest. Although not a financial winner, we made it to number 15 out of 188 entries Canada-wide with 12,000 votes. This translates into 1,200 people – a wonderful show of support!

Many young people responded to the Young Adult Program being free-of-charge this year and came to the Ashram. We are committed to continuing this life-changing offer as an integrated part of our One-Month (OM) Karma Yoga Program. We welcome young people from around the world from different cultures, races, genders and faiths, giving each person an opportunity for personal exploration, skill development and growth in a safe, supportive intergenerational community. The OM Program is also an excellent launching point for longer residential stays at the Ashram; see more on the website.

Arthur Tutt, 29, an engineer by profession, and Danni Lynch, 23, visiting Canada for two years from Ireland, talk about their recent experience at the Ashram in the One-Month Program as young adults.
