New Edition Comes Alive at this Year’s Yoga in Toronto Show

timeless books and ascent magazine got to spend some quality time together as they shared a booth at this year’s Yoga in Toronto Show & Conference. The mood was festive as the staff celebrated the launch of the special 20th Anniversary Edition of Hatha Yoga: The Hidden Language. With hundreds of yoga enthusiasts dropping by the booth throughout the weekend, the Yoga Show was the perfect venue to launch the new edition of such a respected and classic work.

“It has always been beneficial to reach new people through fairs and expos, but this year we were blessed to have Swami Lalitananda representing the new edition of Hatha Yoga: The Hidden Language,” says timeless books publisher Andrew Wedman.

Swami Lalitananda’s presence at the show was indeed a strong and significant one, and busy at that! On Saturday alone, she graced the demonstration stage and delivered a powerful lecture on Hatha Yoga: The Hidden Language, captivating her audience before moving on to a book signing session at the Indigo booth. She then left the Indigo sponsored event and went on to teach the over 90 students who took part in her much-anticipated Hidden Language workshop.

Wedman sees Swami Lalitananda’s passion and commitment as a great inspiration, commenting that her “vibrant energy made the new book come alive.” The impact of Swami Lalitananda’s unrivaled energy was felt throughout the ascent and timeless booth, as staff and volunteers worked relentlessly to make the show a success.
Kendra Ward, Marketing Coordinator for timeless books, sees the show as a great opportunity to make direct contact with the yoga market. “It’s such an opportunity to get a sense of who else is out there offering yoga related products and services. There is a real wide variety of people committed to promoting yoga. It’s nice to be part of such a strong and growing community.”

The show wrapped up on May 7th. The staff, though exhausted by the end of such a busy weekend, was happy with how the event turned out, and felt that their presence at the show was a positive one.

“The hard work paid off,” says timeless books Sales Representative Julia Hambleton, “and it was great to know that people were given a chance to experience Hidden language Hatha Yoga, many for the first time.”
