Last weekend timeless books occupied a booth at Canada’s largest book industry event of the year, Book Expo Canada at the Toronto Convention Centre. Wedged between Random House, and Random House Kids Books, the calm and simple timeless booth prominently displayed both Inspired Lives: The Best of Real Life Yoga from ascent magazine edited by Clea McDougall with a foreword by Kausthub Desikachar, and the new edition of Hatha Yoga: The Hidden Language, the classic text by Swami Sivananda Radha with a preface by BKS Iyengar, whose book Light on Life was released by Raincoast Books in Canada last year. The Expo was a great opportunity for timeless to connect with our current book sellers, and prospective stores who are eager to expand their yoga and spirituality sections with innovative titles like the ones timeless has to offer. Our beautiful books drew the eyes of many passers by who did double takes and commented on how attractive our titles appeared amid a sea of fall titles from across Canada. More than 400 people walked away with our catalogues, and as a result, you will be sure to see more timeless books in more bookstores in the coming months. As the interest in books that take a deeper look at life-improving practices grows.
