Self-Directed Retreats

Family Retreats
Scheduled Retreats   Yoga Packages

Coming to the Ashram as a retreat guest is a peaceful and flexible way to experience life in this harmonious spiritual community. A retreat at the ashram provides the perfect setting to experience yoga as more than the physical practice. Reinvigorate and go deeper with your own yoga practice or experience an authentic introduction to these ancient teachings. We are open to retreat guests year-round. We offer both scheduled retreats (see below) and retreats that you create.

1. Self-Directed
Imagine having time to relax. No distractions, simply time to think, to walk, to read, to breathe. Attend a yoga class each morning. All your meals will be prepared. Just show up.

Simply by walking into the ashram’s peaceful setting your perspective will change. If you want to go deeper and develop clarity with something that is on your mind, add a two-hour workshop to your day. If you are not sure now, we can arrange it once you are here.

We ask all guests to offer two hours of Karma Yoga (selfless service). With the long days you will welcome the company of others and the feeling of community. We all use karma yoga as a way to know ourselves more deeply. You have the option of joining others in the morning or in the afternoon when you can participate in the regularly scheduled half-hour reflection on your experience of karma yoga. It’s up to you.

Each evening everyone at the Ashram comes together for Satsang, a time of chanting and singing bhajans.

We are open to retreat guests year-round. The length of your stay is up to you. One day or longer.

The workshops focus on learning how to use yogic practices to gain insight and clarity about yourself, becoming more aware in the process. A few of Our practices include Hidden Language Hatha Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Dream yoga, and the Divine Light Invocation.

Karma Yoga is the yoga of action, and everyone at the ashram participates, using work as a reflective practice. Karma Yoga jobs vary from harvesting fresh fruit and vegetables or sweeping the temple, to helping in the kitchen.
