Inspired Lives continues to inspire lives, this time
in Nelson B.C. A book launch and workshop was held
Sunday afternoon at the Oxygen Studio, which is part
of the Nelson Fine Arts Centre. Organized by Ascent
contributor, Eileen Delhanty-Pearkes and the ashram’s
Swami Jotihananda, the launch drew 15 people who
responded warmly to the reflections offered by Swami
Radhananda as part of her mini-workshop.
At the end of the workshop the group did the Divine
Light Invocation together, and then heard from Swami
Gopalananda, Swami Sivananda, and ascent editor,
Sarah Truman, all of whom contributed to Inspired
Lives. Swami Radhananda remarked on the harmony of
the group, saying that she could hear in their mantra
chanting how relaxed and easy they were in this warm
reflective setting. The Ashram and timeless books
express appreciation to the Nelson Fine Arts Centre
for donating their space for the launch.
Next week, Inspired Lives will be in Cranbrook, B.C.
for a similar launch and workshop at Lotus Books. According
to timeless publisher, Andrew Wedman, the launch events
are really paying off. timeless staff in Toronto is
working full time to fill retail store orders just
in that city.
