Swami Radha finds the current Ashram site, originally named "Yasodhara Estates." Swami Radha gives is the name Yasodhara Ashram. Yasodhara was the wife of the Buddha; Yasoda is the mother of Krishna.




Swami Radha discovers the location for the round temple she has dreamed about since childhood.

The land is cleared and the foundation for the Temple of Divine Light is laid.

       


Swami Radha leads groups in reflections, dreams and Kundalini. She lays the foundation of future teaching.

The Beach Prayer Room is the first building to be added to the existing homestead site. Satsang is held in the Prayer Room.


 


Swami Radha on a lecture tour of Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE) centres and Unity churches across the US and Canada - to help "put the Ashram on the map."
