Kundalini & Dream Yoga Teacher Certification
Aug 12 @ 6:45 pm – Aug 26 @ 5:30 pm

Kundalini and Dream Yoga Teacher Certification is more than teacher training; it is an adventure of expanding awareness and discovering potential. This intensive two-week program is a profound experience of being together with others of like-mind and coming closer to your own self. The questions “Who am I?” and “What is the purpose of my life?” are the foundation of an ongoing self-inquiry that leads to transformation.

Using the questions and practices in Kundalini Yoga for the West, you will study energy, imagination, emotions, heart, will, mind, consciousness, the power of choice, the power of the senses, the power of speech. You create plans and teach in small group sessions with your colleagues. Learning to maintain a focus on Light, you build an adjustable framework to meet your students’ needs.

As part of this course, you also explore the unconscious levels of mind through recording and interpreting your dreams. Using Swami Radha’s Dream Yoga method, you access the meaning of your dreams and tap the benefits of that inner wisdom. Then in small groups you learn to guide others in their dream interpretations by asking questions, offering tools and helping each person unlock the symbolic messages to attain insights they can apply in their lives.

To remain certified, teachers renew every three years. Many teachers return more frequently, finding this program an advanced learning experience and an opportunity to collaborate, to be inspired in their teaching, and to further their own personal development.

Prerequisites: Completion of the Yoga Development Course and the YDC book reports.

DanceFusion: Slava Doval and Olivia Castiglione with local youth dancers

DanceFusion: Slava Doval and Olivia Castiglione with local youth dancers will lead off the Temple of Light Celebrations (in Mandala House) with contemporary choreographies that touch on friendship, freedom, love, prayer and the humanness that connects us all. Colourful costumes, athletic grace and passion blend together to create a touching performance that will appeal to an audience of all ages. Be prepared to be moved, to cry or smile with this show. Offerings by some of the Ashram’s creative residents will lead into DanceFusion’s set.

Slava Doval was born in Slovakia and grew up in Crawford Bay and Riondel. She credits dancing in the Ashram’s sacred dance tradition as a formative experience in understanding that dance can be an art that speaks to the spirit in a way that words often fail.

Kundalini & Dream Yoga Teacher Certification
Aug 9 @ 6:45 pm – Aug 23 @ 5:30 pm
Kundalini & Dream Yoga Teacher Certification @ Yasodhara Ashram

This intensive two-week teacher certification program is based on a foundation of self-inquiry and experiential learning/teaching. Using the questions and practices in Kundalini Yoga for the West, you will study the potential of each level of consciousness, then teach in small groups with your colleagues. To access guidance from the unconscious mind, you will explore the symbolism of your own dreams and learn to help others in their personal interpretations, using Swami Radha’s dream yoga method (as elucidated in Realities of the Dreaming Mind).

This certification program can help you gain confidence in teaching the spiritual dimensions of yoga by focusing on Light, building on your personal experience and learning to create a framework adaptable to your students’ needs.

Prerequisites: Completion of the Yoga Development Course and the YDC book reflections.

Renewal: Every three years.
