Yasodhara Ashram, Aurora Edible Landscapes, and Fields Forward are offering a 1.5 hour session with Permaculturist Melissa Flint on Friday July 22nd from 11:00 to 12:30pm.
Come learn about what food forest is, why you might want to make a food forest and ways to design and implement a forest garden in your community. A food forest has many emergent properties such as resiliency, shelter and beauty while producing many products such as food, fuel, fiber, fodder, fertiliser, medicine and fun.
Cost: $10 for the workshop. Option to stay for lunch for an additional $15.
All welcome. Please register ahead by emailing registrations@yasodhara.org or phoning 250-227-9227.
